Here is a list of my published short stories and reflective pieces.

My essay ‘Polite Persecution: raising non-binary children, dismantling everything else’ was published in The Modern Craft, edited by Claire Askew and Alice Tarbuck in June 2022.

A story I wrote about the characters from Family Perfect won the Reading Room’s first annual short story competition in June 2020.

Dear Damsels chose my story ‘Seven Spiders’ for their Thrills theme in May 2018. 

I was shortlisted for the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival Writers 2018 competition with my piece Today, who knows? 

The Ogilvie have published my personal reflective essay, The Book of Wonder.

My Nourish piece was chosen for the Scottish Book Trust book. I am beyond delighted about this.

My short story, Wild Ponies, was read by a professional actress on Sine FM as part of National Short Story Week.

My piece Bonus Screws’ was part of the IKEA-themed third podcast from Lies: Dreaming.

I have two stories sitting quietly on the Scottish Book Trust website: Only most things change and The Train.

‘For All Time‘ was published in the first edition of Frangipani Journal, 2017.

‘My Home Village’ was published in East Lothian Life, Autumn Edition 2016.

‘Empty Nest’ was published in The Ropes journal’s 24th edition.
